Non-Exempt GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Uses a team approach to provide one-on-one vocational training and support to worker trainees to enhance their acquisition/retention skills and increase productivity in competitive, supported, and sheltered employment settings.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associates degree preferred.
Previous work experience with individuals with a developmental disability helpful.
Knowledge of food services, custodial and production techniques a plus depending on program area.
Experience or knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet, Windows, Word, Email preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required and driving record acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Provides on-site, direct hands-on training and support for specific job duties and responsibilities or as outlined in the Worker Trainee's Individual Service Plan (ISP).
Must be able to lift without restriction to demonstrate job tasks and provide training to Worker Trainees in the vocational and/or employment setting.
In cooperation with the Team Leader/Manager, assesses each Worker Trainee's vocational and work adjustment readiness for advancement within the vocational program.
Provides behavior and social skills training at the job site to assist the Worker Trainee adjust to the vocational and/or employment setting and to establish good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, etc.
Monitors individual progress against job standards and makes recommendations to the Team Leader regarding the level of continued job coaching.
Provides job coaching services to Worker Trainees in the vocational program and maintains vocational records and reports in an accurate and timely manner which adheres to agency policies/procedures and complies with all applicable regulatory guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned by the STI Program Director.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to tolerate the stresses associated with multiple, simultaneous demands Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, and frequently required to use hand and fingers Safely operate a motor vehicle and be able to obtain a license therefore Lifting:
May occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
